This club is held at Northampton High School in Northampton, Massachusetts Every Wednesday from 2-4 in the theater studio. It was started and is run by Julia Burton in the year 2010. Every month we read an interesting science fiction book, watch a science fiction movie, discuss a concept that has to do with science fiction, and watch 1 or 2 episodes of a good science fiction tv show. The club is backed by NESFA - the New England Science Fiction Association - and we're going to Boskone (in Boston, Massachusetts) and possibly other conventions. We run fundraisers at our school every other month. |
